Elacite Med AD, Mirkovo village is a factory for extraction and enrichment of copper – porous ores. Elatzite Cop AD produces a copper concentrate, of which more than 40,000 tons of copper per year and about 1.5 tons of gold are produced annually. The base for the construction of the Elatzite Mine – Enrichment Complex was opened in 1952 – 1956. a copper deposit in the Etropole Balkan.
In connection with the wear of the existing backflow valves at the pumping station of TMF TMF to Elacite Med AD, ProStream Group has delivered seven DN 500, PN 25bar valves, manufactured by the French company Tecofi S.A. The technical characteristics of the input equipment:
Ductile cast iron body and disc with epoxy coating according to DIN 1693 of 250 mm.
Disc lever: Stainless steel 1.4021 according to DIN 17440.
Seals: Tire (EPDM).
Control: Damping system with lever and counterweight.
Connection: For pressure flanges PN 25 bar according to EN DIN 3202 F4
The double-eccentric reversing valves are installed before the pump aggregates in the tailings pond, thus protecting them from a hydraulic shock.
